REDLINE Gallery, Denver: November, 2017 When Fiber Meets Glass… a Conversation.

Together with collaborator Dr. Jandel Allen-Davis, the relationship of fiber to glass is examined, with an eye to the disparate nature of conversation in today’s world.

Fiber is supple, glass is brittle. Each has its own unique value and limits.  An artists’ medium and world view affects her art and efforts to communicate. Discord from opposing opinions, strong emotions and high stakes drive the polarization of our world.  To connect and merge wildly disparate mediums the artists were forced to overcome the inevitable difficulty that difference evokes.
